Terms and Conditions

Below are the terms and conditions for HCA NDIS & Disability initiatives. If you have further questions that are not answered by this section please get in touch with the team and we will be able to help you out.

Healthcare Australia NDIS & Disability – Refer a Friend Program

1. Program Overview
Healthcare Australia NDIS & Disability (“HCA NDIS”) is offering a referral incentive to existing HCA NDIS participants who refer friends or family members to become new HCA NDIS & Disability clients.
If the referred person signs up and becomes an active HCA NDIS & Disability client, both the referrer and the new client will each receive a $400 gift voucher.

2. Eligibility
• The referrer must be a current HCA NDIS & Disability participant at the time of making the referral.
• The referred person must be a new client and not previously associated with HCA NDIS & Disability.
• Referrals are not valid if the new client is introduced via any third party (including but not limited to referral agencies or support coordination services).
• The referral must be disclosed to HCA NDIS & Disability within two (2) months of the referred client commencing services.
• This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or incentive.

3. Referral Process
Referrals can be made in either of the following ways:
• The referrer advises HCA NDIS & Disability of the referral by contacting their HCA Care Manager.
• The referred client provides the referrer’s full name during onboarding.
It is the responsibility of either the referrer or the referred client to ensure HCA NDIS & Disability is notified of the referral within the eligibility timeframe for the reward to be applied.

4. Incentive Payment
• Once the referred client has been onboarded and verified as an eligible HCA NDIS & Disability participant, both parties will each receive a $400 gift voucher.
• Vouchers will be issued within thirty (30) days of verification.
• The reward is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for any other benefit.

5. General Conditions
• HCA NDIS & Disability reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the program at any time without prior notice.
• In the event of multiple referrals for the same individual, only the first valid referral received will be eligible for the reward.
• Any suspected misuse of the program, including false referrals or self-referrals, may result in disqualification.
• Participation in the program constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Healthcare Australia NDIS & Disability – Refer a Healthcare Professional Program

1. Program Overview
Healthcare Australia (HCA) offers a referral incentive to reward individuals who refer qualified healthcare professionals to join HCA. Referrals may come from current or past HCA workers. The bonus will be paid to both the referrer and the referred candidate once all eligibility criteria are met.

2. Eligibility
The Referrer:

  • Must have previously worked for HCA (including all associated brands) in any division or role.
  • Does not need to be a current employee at the time of making the referral.
  • If the referrer is currently employed by HCA, the reward will be processed through payroll.
  • If the referrer is not currently employed by HCA, the reward will be provided as a digital gift card, in their local currency where possible.

The Referred Candidate Must:

  • Be new to HCA (including all associated brands), or
  • Not have worked with HCA in the past 2 years.
  • Be referred before their interview prior to commencing with HCA, via the HCA website or verbally during application process.
  • Mention the referrer during their interview. Late referrals may not be eligible.

Referrals are recognised both nationally and internationally. The referred candidate does not need to work in the same division, state, or country as the referrer.

3. Reward Structure

Doctors
Examples: GP, Locum GP, Registrar, Consultant, Specialist, Hospital Medical Officer
· Referrer Reward: $750 AUD equivalent
· Referee Reward: $750 AUD equivalent

Nursing & Allied Health Roles
Examples: Registered Nurse (RN), Enrolled Nurse (EN), Midwife (RM), Theatre Staff, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist
• Referrer Reward: $500 AUD equivalent
• Referee Reward: $500 AUD equivalent

Support Roles
Examples: PCA, AIN, Disability Support Worker, Domestic Support Worker
• Referrer Reward: $150 AUD equivalent
• Referee Reward: $150 AUD equivalent
Examples:
• If an AIN refers an RN → both receive $500
• If an RN refers a PCA → both receive $150
• If an RN refers a GP → both receive $750
• If an RN refers an Allied Health Worker → both receive $500

4. Reward Conditions

  • The referred candidate enters Agency or community support work; they must work 100 hours within 90 days of starting work with HCA for both parties to be eligible to receive the reward.
  • If the referred candidate, any specialty, enters the Travel Nurse/placement Program, they must complete at least one placement of 4 or more weeks within 90 days of starting work with HCA.
  • If the referred candidate is an Allied Health worker, the allied health worker must enter a permanent contract, working 3+days per week and complete 6 months of work for both parties to be eligible for the reward.
  • If the referred candidate is a Doctor, they must complete their 15th shift within 6 months of starting with HCA for both parties to be eligible to receive the reward.
  • It is the responsibility of both the referrer and the referee to notify HCA when the eligibility criteria have been met and to claim the reward.
  • The referrer must have had previous employment history with HCA.
  • Current employees will be paid through payroll. Former employees will receive their reward via digital gift card (in their local currency where applicable).

5. How to Redeem
Once the referred candidate has met the applicable criteria please email your dedicated contact to advise that the requirements have been fulfilled to redeem the reward.

6. Terms and Conditions
• All rewards are at the sole discretion of HCA.
• This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or offers.
• HCA reserves the right to extend, change, or end this promotion at any time.
• Standard tax and superannuation legislation applies to all payments made to current employees.
• Gift card payments for non-employees will not incur superannuation or payroll tax obligations.
• Currency conversion is based on the exchange rate at the time the gift card is issued.
