Who we are
Healthcare Australia is an established, national provider of healthcare support services in Australia.
The service agreement should have a section on how much notice you need to provide to cancel your services. If it doesn’t, talk to your service provider and ask them. Remember you are in control and service providers cannot make it hard for you to exit their services.
This should be done in writing, ideally as an email. Make sure the provider confirms they have received your cancellation and confirm the last date of service delivery they will provide.
If you use NDIS service bookings on your myplace portal – you need to cancel the service booking with your old service provider and make a new one for your new service provider. Your support coordinator can do this, or click myplace portal for more information.
If you have a new NDIS plan issued by their new computer system PACE – you need to ask the NDIS to send a request for service to your new service provider so they can be recorded as a my provider on your NDIS plan. Your support coordinator can do this, or click working with providers for more information.
HCA is ready to help you switch providers or for you to add us to your circle of support providers.
