Personal care supports include assistance with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, transfers, mobility and morning or evening routines. These services help people live independently and safely at home.

Does HCA offer community access support?

Yes. HCA supports you to engage in community activities, social outings, learning programs and recreational events. Our Support Workers will help you stay connected, active and confident in your community.

Can I get support to develop everyday living skills?

Yes. HCA offers daily living and skill development supports such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, computer use, communication skills and other skills that promote independence and confidence.

Does HCA provide respite care under the NDIS?

Yes. HCA provides in-home respite services, to give carers a short-term break or additional support during busy periods.

Can HCA help me understand or review my NDIS plan?

Yes. HCA can help you understand your plan, prepare for plan reviews and identify if your goals or support needs have changed. We can also help you navigate your funding and understand what supports may be available.
