Who we are
Healthcare Australia is an established, national provider of healthcare support services in Australia.
Your NDIS plan outlines the goals you want to achieve and what supports you will need to be able to achieve these goals. The goals in your plans are then matched to the different categories of supports that the NDIS provide so the NDIA can identify how they can support you best with achieving your goals.
Your NDIS Plan will be created within 21 days of receiving your funding decision. In order for the plan to be created you will need to have a planning meeting. The NDIS will contact you to set up your planning meeting.
In your planning meeting you’ll be asked questions about how you are going and different areas in your life that you might like to focus on. You may be asked questions that relate to your existing community and other supports you receive (outside of the NDIS), how you manage daily activities and specific goals you’d like to pursue.
All plans must be approved by the NDIA before they come into effect and before funding can be allocated. After your planning meeting, you will receive your approved plan either in person or in the post.
If you disagree with what’s in your plan you can ask for an internal review by the NDIA.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to eligible people living with a disability or permanent cognitive impairment.
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) makes decisions about whether someone is eligible to become an NDIS participant. If someone is deemed eligible, the NDIA will then decide how much funding they will receive.
The NDIS covers and provides support for a wide range of disabilities.
To apply to the NDIS, the first thing to do is check if you meet the eligibility requirements.
There are three different ways to manage your NDIS funding.
NDIS funding is designed to cover the reasonable and necessary supports you need to manage your disability and work towards your goals.
The NDIS funds a variety of supports and services that can include personal care, mobility aids, therapy, home modifications, and help with community participation.
To switch NDIS providers, you must locate your service agreement then follow 3-step simple steps.
